Kat Recs All The Fics - Day 7

Four Weddings And A Funeral

I Thought That Love Would Last Forever (I Was Wrong) - Charles/Matthew. The character voices are absolute spot on and the fic makes its point gently and  without preaching. If you loved the movie, you'll love this fic.

Hot Fuzz

After the Explosion, the Days - Danny/Nicholas. "there was sort-of-knowing and there was knowing-knowing". Nicholas catches up. Sweet and adorable.

DIY For Beginners - Danny/Nicholas. Danny is worried that London, not to mention a charming maler reporter, will tempt Nicholas away from Sandford. Clearly he needs to do something about it. Danny buying sex toys is possibly cuter than it has any right to be.

It's just like that scene in Lethal Weapon, only not
- Danny/Nicholas. Danny is acting strangely and Nicholas needs to do some detecting. Which he does, in his usual effective and methodical manner. This fic made me grin a lot, especially the whole thing about using Riggs and Murtaugh to talk about things without really talking about them.

Long Shot
- Danny/Nicholas. Gloriously awkward and sweet and perfect.

Jeeves and Wooster

Interference Part 1
and Part 2 - Jeeves/Wooster. This fic is kind of shockingly filthy and also more than a little twisted. And yet, even more shockingly, it is still entirely in character. I read half of this from between my fingers but read it I did because... incredibly well done.

Morning Glory
- Jeeves/Wooster. Man, even a handjob makes me blush furiously when it's this fandom and pairing. Bertie is his usual clueless self for all that he is enjoying the benefits of Jeeves' caretaking.

Primeval

Friday, I'm In Love - Nick/Stephen (Helen/Nick). There is an appalling lack of good Nick/Stephen fic out there. This one is full of angst and some entirely delicious flirting toward the end.

Sherlock

A Study In Blue
- John/Sherlock. Mmm breathplay and John being all authoritative. Yes please.

The O.C.

Line of Best Fit
- Ryan/Seth. Combination of two of my favourite things: best friends becoming lovers and a university setting. Seth is not running away, he just decides to go to St. Andrews University. Because of the lovely weather there, or something. This is a great read with good original characters and author's love for the setting coming through loud and clear.

I hope you've enjoyed the rec spam this week. I still haven't gone through all my backlog so I might have to do some more binge reccing in the near future. Perhaps you'll endure it?
