The Fic DVD Commentary Meme

And now, after the RL update, something different. I saw this floating around the fandom gestalt and said to myself "hey self, that looks fun. and you have that holiday coming up during which it might be interesting to at least think about writing even if you don't actually do it." Hence...

The Fic DVD Commentary Meme:

If you've ever watched your favorite dvds, and then found yourself eager to hear exactly what the actors, directors, writers and even production designers thought about making the episode, the movie, or whatever - you'll know sometimes the best parts of dvds are hearing the commentaries. Getting into an actor's feelings about the character they play, getting the background behind a writer's plans and metaphors, even just getting the stupid anecdotal stuff that makes you laugh, it's all good.

Ask me about any story, and I'll do a DVD commentary for it! Satisfy your curiosity!
All my posted fics can be found here.

Alternatively, if anyone is bored and wants to do a Reader's DVD Commentary on one of my stories that would be awesome.

I quite fancy a commentary of that Jack/Ten story that involved unicorns, it was so beautifully mad! Failing that I'd take one during 'Rhyme and Refrain.'

Of course now I'm wondering about all the ways to do this. Perhaps by stalking the fic characters like David Attenborough, and explaining your motives, or alternatively just voice-overing everything (or appearing inside televisions and radios,) hence making everyone in the story feel like Sam Tyler.

I'm already doing "rhyme and refrain" anyway so you'll get both :)

I think I will go the voice-over route, at least partly, though it may make the post ridiculously long for some fics...
