what the actual fuck bbc?

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!

BBC what are you playing at??? You can't just leave it there, jesus h!

Things I didn't like: women are victims or silly (Molly, Mrs. Hudson) or bad (the wife, the Czech woman) or just offensive (Sally). Assassin's physical differences used to make him appear evil and grotesque. Moriarty turns out to be a dweeb with a squeaky voice (honestly, they should've kept his identity a mystery). THE CLIFFHANGER, WTF BBC I CANNOT DEAL WITH THIS. THINK ABOUT ALL THE PEOPLE WHO DON'T HAVE FANDOM TO RELY ON!

Things I liked: The case kept me in suspense. Lestrade was back. John! John, John, John being awesome and competent. Also Sherlock, who cares even though he likes to think he doesn't. The scene at the pool when it's so painfully obvious just how much he cares when it's John with explosives tied to his chest,

In summary: WHERE'S THE 'FIX IT' FIC? AND THE EPIC H/C 'WE JUST SURVIVED, LET'S HAVE CELEBRATORY SEX' FIC? I WANTS IT. NOW.

I don't know how I feel about Moriarty at the moment. I sorta saw him as the Joker, from Batman. There was something about the kid that played him that gave off that insanity vibe, but he didn't seem to live up to the BRILLIANCE that IS Moriarty. I mean, I know it's everyone to their own. There are tons of people who believe that Moriarty is a figment of Sherlock's imagination (or even an alter personality, etc.) so, not everyone was going to be pleased with him. But, idk, I just think he fell far short of what I was expecting. I'm attempting to give him more of a chance and wait until the next episode... we shall see.

I think I may have liked it more if they hadn't showed him, as well, left it all a mystery.

I will be watching the internet like crazy, following the renew status of this show. Until then, I'm sure I'll be watching these 3 episodes over and over, and over again.

I second that Fix It fic, if it pops up I will gobble it up. =3

Oh I got the insanity vibe too, but there was something pitiful about him that made him less scary. I did like that he turned out to be Jimmy, but again that reveal would have been better if they'd established the character more, like over all of the episodes.

And yeah, the wait for the second seasons seems unbearably long right now... jfdklalfdkdkls. Luckily there's fandom. I love it when it's pretty much guaranteed that within a week the fics should start popping out like mushrooms in the rain. &fandom;

How utterly, incredibly awesome was John? He killed me this episode.

John was just great, I spent a lot of the episode with a grin on my face whenever he was on the screen.

John is easily my favourite thing about Sherlock. I was very disappointed with Moriarty though. His insanity is supposed to be menancing rather than... sort of pathetic. Not cool, BBC, not cool!

Yeah, it was too easy to feel sorry for Moriarty, the misunderstood and bullied geek he was portrayed as... Can't believe we have to wait a year for the next series though. Argh!

What about Sarah? I mean, i personally dislike her because she's trying to prevent Sherlock/John, but she's an alright character. Also not-Anthea is an awesome character.

Moriarty turns out to be a dweeb with a squeaky voice (honestly, they should've kept his identity a mystery)
Aaaah, but is that REALLY Moriarty....?

And yeah, KILLER CLIFFHANGER. Enough to make me literally scream in outrage then have my Mum shout at me for being so loud so late at night. XD

And guh, that scene. You could actually see Sherlock's heart breaking in his eyes when John emerged. Guh.

The show hasn't been good to its female characters as a rule, but Sarah and not!Anthea are pretty good and capable. I'm interested to know what they're going to do with Mary, or whether they're bringing Irene Adler character in the next season.

Ah, well, that too remains to be seen. Personally, I'd prefer Moriarty to stay in the shadows.

And yeah, what did Moriarty say; he's going to burn Sherlock's heart out... and clearly the way to accomplish this is to go for John. Everyone ships them :D

PS. if you haven't already, go read this: http://spikeface.livejournal.com/88797.html excellent fic, fairly dark and gets Sherlock the sociopath spot-on.
