I was going to post some more fic recs but the problem with that is that I end up skimming through the fics I want to rec to remember them properly again and when most of them are like 20-100k long and you are tired a lot and also probably need new glasses because eyes are... tired, that... is a thing that will happen tomorrow.

So instead I just grabbed the latest questions from [community profile] fridayfive

1. Forest: Do you spend a lot of time in nature? Do you want to?
No, not enough and I would like to. This is one of the main things I miss about Finland: easy access to nature, no car required. I have access to some coastline where I live (within walking distance) but I miss forests.

2. Cereal: What do you usually eat for breakfast?
Any food eaten first thing during the day is breakfast regardless of what it is and what time you consume it. That is to say I'm pretty omnivorous for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks etc. But for convenience my most common breakfast options are porridge (oat, rye, rice, semolina) with jam, plain yoghurt with oats, nuts, seeds, and fruit, toast with something on it, fruit and cereal bar for uni days because they travel well. Coffee or tea, though neither is necessary.

3. Flu: How do you cope with getting a minor illness?
Who said I was ill? They're lying. It's just sniffles. I'm not ill. Shut up.

4. Worm: What sort of dirty/messy activities do you enjoy?
Baking and cooking. Sometimes I like to mess around with water colours. Oh, and sex. It's messy if you do it right and I enjoy it :D

5. Bang: What's the last celebration you went to?

Colleague's 60th birthday lunch.

I really miss easy access to, well, nature in general. We have a small green belt behind our house which is great, I love to 'chat' with the crows but it's not enough. Growing up in the Cotwolds meant just walking out of the front door.

Oh, and sex. It's messy if you do it right and I enjoy it :D

5. Bang:

Erm... ;D

I don't often go to forests, but I do battle nature in my yard trying to keep a flower garden. Right now it looks like an overgrown graveyard. (sigh)

I guess the last celebration I participated in was Pat's birthday when we visited my brother. That was nice.

I would miss the forest too much I think to ever concider actually not living near one! What I love most about where I live now, is that it is easy to combine coastline with forest.

I want to spent more time in nature too. It's good for me. For me this means just being in my yard, nothing fancy.

I miss forests too, even though my easy-access version of them was only a monocropped plantation rather than an old-growth forest.

ny food eaten first thing during the day is breakfast regardless of what it is and what time you consume it.

CO-SIGNED.

Such a perfect answer.

I realise per your last post you're drowning, nay, dying of work, but if you get a chance to inhale for thirty seconds altogether, Epping Forest is nice in the spring.
