I love OnlyOneOf's solo MVs more than their group ones, by far! (Although everything they make is excellent!)
These videos are beautiful. They portray emotion and erotism so delicately.

#2 of the vids hadn't embedded for some reason but fixed that now... I'm pretty sure I was first drawn in by the whole Libido thing which was... Something. But I am genuinely enjoying their sound and everything I've seen of them as people so far. The videos are so soft and sensual, they are lovely.

I've been really and sincerely touched by them. I remember when they went viral on Twitter for "Libido" last year and some people were saying it felt queerbaity, which didn't jive with me at all. It was way too much risk for too little potential reward to be queerbait IMO, given how the kpop industry works and the current state of LGBT characters/themes in Korean media. So when they doubled down with Skinz and then started this even more outright gay MV series, I felt validated for thinking they were sincere with Libido AND as a queer viewer. I am used to living on crumbs, especially within the kpop sphere, so this be series really feels like a banquet. I hope their music reaches more people and they can get more recognition domestically and abroad.

I still remember feeling so (joyously) stunned when begin dropped, and in June too. The beautiful song, the gorgeous mv, the message in the video description, the timing; so thoughtful. So many emotions!

I'm pretty sure Libido was where I first encountered them and the vid and the choreo sure were a mood (I am always going to appreciate little choking action so you know) but I have also enjoyed everything I've heard from them and seen about them as people. I'm particularly fascinated by KB who is a whole ass adult with a whole ass other life and career before he just decided that actually, never too late to become an idol. What a king. But also, I really appreciate the... idk, the maturity? Like a very different vibe to someone who essentially grew up as trainee then idol. But yes, with you on the validation as a queer viewer. Huge amount of respect to them.

KB was my entry into the fandom for basically the same reason (plus, we were born the same year, gotta support my same-age friend.) It's understandable that most idols don't have much Normal Life Experience given that most sink all their free time into studying singing/dance years before debut and it's so common to debut at 18 or younger. But I think it's a pity. Those few idols who were out there just going to regular schools and working jobs and stuff definitely have a different air to them (and perspective, I feel) compared to the others.
