My recalcitrant pair have reached the end of volume four merely admitting that they might be an item. Of course, if they'd gone any further they would almost certainly have got sand in inconvenient, uncomfortable places, so they were glaring at me. And one did give the other a beautiful stone-with-a hole, found on the sand, to wear as a pendant.
