Oh I've been excited for this ever since you said it was nearing completion and this lived up to and then exceeded any expectations I could have had. It's beautiful, so quiet and peaceful. Such a steady progress.

I love the combination of Castiel and Bobby and you make them work so well.

I loved it all, the gentle healing, Cas' seemingly unconscious giving of comfort.

If I were to pick out favourite aspects...

These days Bobby understands John much better than he ever wanted to. Subtle and perfect.
“I need a base,” he says then. “Winchesters travel around too much.” I don't even know why I love this line so much.
“It did not work,” Castiel says. He has a talent for stating the obvious. made me lol whilst being so true!
“So,” he finally clears his throat. “How are you boys holding up?” - and I love this for the moment he fully steps outside of himself, allows himself to open up once more.

I LOVE this fic. It's perfect and calming and beautiful.
