Whee, look at me making progress with my Epic January List.  This week is for writing, so although I'm at the moment focusing on thesis-related scribbles (halfway through to the target!), hopefully fic will happen too.

Certain people on my flist are trying to get me into Jonas Brothers. ...wait, that sounded kind of kinky. I mean, into Jonas Brothers fandom. I would like to point out that just because I occasionally read fic and may have been skimming some of the primers, I do not count myself as being in a fandom until I've written fic (and sometimes not even then, for reference see random drabbles in e.g. American Idol and The Professionals). And that's unlikely to happen. So there. *sulkity sulk sulk*

I have gotten myself an AO3 account. I'm MistressKat over there, after careful consideration of what name to go with. That has always been my author name, whereas my LJ name comes from the journal being my lair of sorts... Does that make sense? Anyway, I haven't transferred any of my fic there yet, but will probably start doing that soonish.

Okay, I will now have to go to the post office and then buy some food. I hope you are all jealous of my exciting life. *nodnod*

So I thought I'd stick in on this one. you can upload from an existing url. The danger with that is occasionally there are things that are slightly awry. I did that initially. Now I find it easier to simply copy and paste into the space provided. Honestly, it's ever so easy. I've uploaded 61 fics now, some of them chaptered. The only annoying thing can be sometimes with the pairings, especially if for example there are many people that are paired with Rodney McKay. Other than I'd say it's great.

Do you mean when you put in multiple pairings?

No. When there's a very long list of pairings for some reason it will only let you scroll down what you can see, so for example if you have Patrick Stump/Pete Wentz it doesn't show that in th initial list of people paired with either of them so you have to type it in.

Ahh... Well, i certainly had to type in the Laura Cadman/Elizabeth Weir pairing for that one SGA drabble thing I posted. Assumed it was first fic with that pairing.
