There are enough shots of Sam in bed for me to be proved wrong on this one, but... a duvet in 1973? I know I did get my first one in the 1970s, but I'd have said it was a couple of years on. And I remember a boyfriend in the early 1980s saying it was the first time he'd slept under one.
