Stargate Atlantis – McKay/Zelenka – PG

It’s a coward’s way out, but Radek takes it anyway.

He rolls out of the bed and fumbles for his glasses, getting dressed in the dark. His bag is waiting beside the door. Under the blankets Rodney breathes heavy and even, which is how Radek knows that he’s awake.

Neither of them says anything.

The winter outside the hotel hits him in the face like a goodbye, bitter and cold. He takes a cab to the airport, closing his eyes when they pass the turn to the SGC.

Tomorrow Rodney is going home. Radek is just going back to Prague.

Okay, I don't have a specific red to give off the top of my head, mainly because McKay/Sheppard isn't my pairing of choice for the show (though I do read it, just don't actively go looking for fics). However, what I have for you are some links.

Wraithbait (http://www.wraithbait.com/) is the main archive for SGA fic, searchable by pairing.

The Crossroads (http://sga.fictionresource.com/) is a Thematic Slash Fic Index I admin for. In here you can go and look for specific pairing together with specific episode or specific theme. You will see that fics are not only categorised but also tagged for easy searching. Go wild!

Oh, thanks for the links! Will check out - I fully intend to catch up through season three in the next few weeks and then hit the web for a long, throughly debauched weekend of SGA slash :) I just saw the ep the other night, and, really, could you get a better set-up? There has to be fic for it.

I haven't read any McShep (or anything, actually), but figured it was the big, expansive pairing, so more likely. Plus, I'm vaguely obsessed with Joe's pointy elf ears and tendancy to smile with one side of his mouth.

My wife adds that Ronon, really hunky. He's totally not my type, but I'm starting to agree(I tend towards delicately pretty boys - Jensen is really masculine for me) We're a strange set :)

And auto-pimpage is always welcome. I do know that I shouldn't get too attached to Carson, though.

Sheppard sure is pretty, but doesn't really do it for me the way Rodney and Carson do. But yes, McShep is the most popular slash pairing in the fandom. Speaking of Ronon... Ronon/Sheppard appeals to me a lot. There's some really good fic for that so check them out on the Crossroads rarer pairings index.

And yeah... Carson. I cried like a baby and haven't really found my SGA mojo since. Though I am writing something for sga_santa again this year (another comm, whose fic masterlists you might want to check).

I'm predictible - I love pretty and sarcastic. As soon as he started calling the captured wraith "Steve" I was pretty much gone. It's not quite Dean - I think I fell for him sometime in the first ep (hell, it probably started with "I love the smurfs"). I'm sure that I'll hit the fic and fall more in love with one of the more interesting and less obviously pretty boys, but just now - interesting ways for Joe to lose his clothes...

I'm thinking Ronon/anyone might be appealing - he seems to type to show up and make previously hetero boys rethink things. Plus, you can get away from all those Earth roles/moralities.

Crossroads looks beautifully organized, especially after spending most of my fic time on LJ, which tends towards barely funtional chaos - which is part of it's overly entusiastic puppy-dog charm, but still :)

One of the most utilised themes in Ronon/Sheppard is Ronon expecting Sheppard to fuck/mark/claim him because that's what commanders in Sateda did and Ronon is all hurt and confused because doesn't Sheppard want him in his team? Cue D/s themed porn. \o/
